At 22, after years of chronic pain, Debbie was diagnosed with a degenerative spinal condition and told she could be in a wheelchair by the time she was 30. Devastating news for a young woman who loved to run, canoe, gym, dance and all the usual things active young people take for granted. However Debbie decided she was not going to succumb to that grim prognosis and that's when her learning really started! "I look on that rather grim prognosis now as a gift, because it actually kick started my journey and investment in myself that has led me to where I am now - Quite a few years over 30 and no wheelchair in sight! Instead I studied, researched, experimented and developed a programme of mental and physical training which improved my physical body and quality of life beyond measure - and gave me a fulfilling career too! I am now an international fitness presenter and success coach, with an amazing toolbox of cutting edge techniques which I am privileged to be able to share to help others achieve the health, fitness and life successes they desire more easily. As one of my favourite quotes by Henry Ford says..... 'Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you are right' The power of the human mind is incredible, you really give yourself the edge in every area of life, physical and emotional by harnessing how your mind works naturally to your best advantage - and like me you might very well be amazed and delighted at the changes you can achieve for yourself by doing so!" Debbie naturally combines mind training techniques into all her physical training and workshops. Please see www.TheYesApproach.com for more, including the inspiring 'Thoughts to Live By' collection.
