Mark being presented above with his 'Be the Change!' award by UK Level 2 Performance Cycling Instructor Paul Lewis who qualified at RAF Marham and has since been flying the Performance Cycling flag in bases worldwide.
Paul tells us why he chose Mark as his winner:
"Mark has been the only person to make it to absolutely every single Performance Cycling class I have run while out here in Afghanistan, which bearing in mind the hours we have been working is quite some dedication, throughout the tour, Mark has always turned up with energy and a smile, and given the class 100%, he has most certainly Been The Change, and will carry on doing so using his towel with pride!"
