Todd being presented above with his 'Be the Change!' award by US Level 2 Performance Cycling Instructor Lorraine Buckley, flying the flag for Performance Cycling in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
Lorraine explains why she chose Todd as a winner:
"To better appreciate our nominee, you have to understand that Todd is somewhat reserved. I like to call him the QUIET STORM.
He casually comes into class, completes his ride with full and vigorous energy, and then leaves just like the quiet storm…you can only tell it's been there after it has passed.
He leaves his mark on the class without ever knowing it.
Only after presenting him with his well-deserved "Be the Change" towel did he finally open up. He shared with the entire class that he had never experienced indoor cycling until he entered our class nearly two years ago. Since then he has attended 3 times a week almost without exception and through his dedication to reaching his fitness goals, he lost approximately 10 pounds. He also improved his Army Physical Fitness Test score by thirty points. This is a HUGE accomplishment for anyone. He credits our class for his achievements.
I have been honored to help guide Todd towards his fitness goals and I see Todd as a future indoor cycling instructor."
Congratulations to Todd and Lorraine - Keep on 'Being the change!' and being an inspiration!
Lorraine is herself a winner of our Featured Instructor Award for her dedication to providing great Performance Cycling classes in Spain and the USA.
